Programming Project 3: Sound Collage
For this assignment, I chose to use the recorded words in the Speech folder to make a story. Because of word limitations, it is often not grammatically correct, and sometimes uses unusual wordings to describe something. It's kind of like listening to a story a little kid is telling.
Because it's a story, I didn't make sound modifications to each word that I use (that would take forever). Here are the modifications I made. In the sentence "a rabbit stole my computer" the volume of my (used originally in the sentence "I impress you with my tales") is doubled, to show vocal stress. Later, the frequency of the words "my computer" is doubled, making a high sound to show the rabbit speaking. Lastly, the last lines of the story "Thank you" are echoed, to give the story a finished feel (and because echo is a neat effect)
