.: Combining Pieces :.

In this lab activity, I manipulated four pictures using four different functions. I obtained the images during a class activity where we split into groups and took photos around campus and in the library.
	The picture of the person in the forground was taken in front of a green screen. A few functions were then used to remove the green, and insert as a new back ground the image of the shadow on cement. The bit of green edging around the girl and cow puppet is from a reflection. The shadow/cement background was an ordinary picture taken on a sunny day.

Here the same person as in the previous photograph is cleaning her glasses on the left, while the right side of the image shows a large open area between several buildings. The functions used here identified the two photographs and then combined them. In the portion where they overlap, an area about 150 pixels wide, the images were blended to give them 50% transparency. I particularly like this one, as the buildings match up so well, it's a bit difficult to tell them apart. Fun!
