WRIT130First-Year SeminarDuring the fall quarter of their freshman year, all first-year degree-seeking students must complete a First-Year Seminar which also fulfills the College's writing requirement. These seminars focus on critical thinking and are intended to develop skills in written expression and information literacy. Offered through various departments across the College, these Seminars have been designed exclusively for first-year students. Enrollment is limited so that students may work closely as a group and receive individualized attention from the instructor.
