ALMA - The Kalamazoo College football team lost 35-10 at Alma on Saturday, Oct. 30. Kalamazoo led 10-0 after the first quarter, but the Scots scored in each of the final three quarters while keeping the Hornets' offense in check. Alma scored 14 points in the second quarter to lead 14-10 at halftime, then added seven points in the third quarter and 14 points in the fourth.

Nick Jones was 27-of-50 passing for 260 yards with two interceptions.

Dimeko Price had nine catches for 95 yards. He also had 111 rushing yards on 18 carries, including a four-yard touchdown run late in the first quarter.

Travis Braun made a 21-yard field goal to open the scoring midway through the first quarter. The field goal was Braun's tenth in league play this year setting a new MIAA record for field goals made in a season.

Cory McCain had eight catches for 86 yards. Jimmy Frye had five catches for 67 yards.

Andy Herman, Adam Powers and Mike Page each had eight tackles. Jake Schell had an interception.

Kalamazoo returns home for the season finale against Trine next Saturday, Nov. 6 at 1 p.m.
