Week 7 Lab |
||
Week 7 Lab was devoted to constructing a sound of our own using the MIDI sound cataloguing system. By implementing sounds converted to MIDI files (check this site out for help), I was able to recreate a strange but intelligible version of one of the most despised 5-note sequences in the history of the piano. To facilitate the process, I used similar coding to the "returnNotes" and "appendSounds" functions. |

Prior to lab (5/15), we successfully ran a number of other functions. The sound you will find to the right takes an Echoing effect and applies it to the Gettysburg Address! Take that Stonewall Jackson! (the original sound is linnked on the left). |
Four Scores and Seven Years Ago.. . |

Similarly, the next sound you will find on the right is one that shifts the frequency of the spoken word, "Backpack." Listen carefully...you might find a secret, demonic message! |
