Why K?

“I love orange! And I appreciate the Kalamazoo community as much as I do the College, our students, and our beloved colleagues. I have worked with more than 40 colleges and universities around the country and K feels like home. Hornets are smart, kind and funny.”

Life Outside of the College

“I LOVE live music. Kalamazoo has great shows at Bell’s, and when I’m in Denver, I enjoy seeing artists at Red Rocks. Highlights of summer 2022 were Brandi Carlile and The Chicks—phenomenal performances. Recently I saw The Judds (with Brandi Carlile) at Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids. Life is better with music!”
