Please join us on Monday, June 24 for the 2024 Hornet Golf Jamboree in support of K athletics. Spend the day golfing with fellow alumni and friends of the College at the Gull Lake View Golf Resort. We will be golfing on Gull Lake View East!

What to Expect at the 2024 Hornet Golf Jamboree

Please join Kalamazoo College alumni, former K athletes and friends of the College at Gull Lake View East, West Michigan’s largest golf resort, for a fun-filled 18 holes of golf all while supporting K athletics. Registration begins at 9 a.m. with a shotgun start at 10 a.m. After you and your team complete your 18 rounds, meet us back at the clubhouse for a buffet meal, refreshments, award ceremony and remarks from the College. Please register by Wednesday, June 19 as either an individual golfer ($125) or your foursome team ($425)!

Gull Lake View Golf Resort is located at 7417 N 38th Street, Augusta, Michigan 49012. We will be golfing on Gull Lake View East!

Time:Schedule of Events on June 24:
9-10 a.m.Registration and a chance for putting or drive range practice (at golfer’s expense)
Please let us know your dietary needs before the shotgun start!
10 a.m.Shotgun start
(Time varies per foursome)Lunch on the turn

2024 Sponsorship Opportunities

The Hornet Golf Jamboree benefits Kalamazoo College’s Hornet Athletic Association, the charitable giving program of Hornet Athletics. Designed to provide unrestricted support to address the evolving needs of the athletics department and its 18 intercollegiate athletic programs, gifts to the fund have an immediate impact, enhancing the overall experience for student-athletes and contributing to the success of our sports teams.

Your sponsorship will play a pivotal role in guaranteeing that every Kalamazoo College student-athlete has access to the essential resources needed for their success.

There are several sponsorship opportunities from which to choose:

  • Exclusive Title Sponsor ($5,000): Foursome with cart; sponsor recognition in advance promotional materials; sponsor recognition at event and on webpage; sponsor recognition via livestream and PA during 2024-25 athletic season. Limit one sponsor.
  • Lunch Sponsor ($2,500): Foursome with cart; sponsor logo on sign at lunch, hole sign, sponsor recognition at event and on webpage; sponsor recognition via livestream and PA during 2024-25 athletic season.
  • SOLD OUT Golf Cart Sponsor ($2,500): Foursome with cart; sponsor logo decal on each foursome cart, hole sign, sponsor recognition at event and on webpage; sponsor recognition via livestream and PA during 2024-25 athletic season.
  • Stinger Hole Sponsor ($1,200): Foursome with cart, hole sign, sponsor recognition at event and on webpage.
  • Hornet Hole Sponsor ($600): Round of golf for one person, hole sign, sponsor recognition at event and on webpage.
  • Colony Hole Sponsor ($300): Hole sign, sponsor recognition at event and on webpage.

The IRS charitable value of sponsorships is determined by reducing the contribution amount by the fair market value of goods and/or services received. To receive the full IRS charitable value of the contribution, donors may decline listed goods and/or services.
