Enrollment Sustainability
The College will work strategically to increase full time enrollment and student achievement levels throughout the four-year experience. The approach will focus on enrollment growth through new partnerships, enhanced pathways for transfer and international students, empowering student curricular and co-curricular success, and ensuring that we communicate K’s distinctive impact and value to prospective students.
Goals
Invest in initiatives and relationships to catalyze enrollment growth (alumni, campus partners, off-campus partners).
- Establish programs and opportunities for alumni to identify and recruit prospective students.
- Grow and maintain relationships with college access partners.
- Consider and support future institutional investments and initiatives that will catalyze enrollment growth.
- Recruit and retain a talented enrollment team.
- Maintain and expand top of the enrollment funnel.
- Maintain and increase overall yield rate to capitalize on application growth.
Expand transfer and international enrollments.
- Streamline the admission and enrollment process for prospective transfer applicants.
- Grow and maintain relationships with community college partners.
- Increase applications and yield among international students.
Expand visibility of K’s impact and value throughout enrollment funnel to prospects in primary and secondary markets.
- Increase awareness of K, including the institution’s offerings, its unique character and its value/ROI to prospective students.
- Communicate effectively throughout all stages of the enrollment funnel (prospects, inquiries, applicants, admits, deposited to enrolled).
- Continue to communicate scholarship and financial aid information transparently.
Support students in achieving curricular and co-curricular excellence.
- Assess student learning and departmental/program practices after pandemic-related disruptions.
- Increase visibility and use of academic support services.
- Broaden academic opportunities.
- Help students make connections among classroom learning, experiential learning, and institutional learning outcomes.
